Our Story

In the Beginning

Back in 1972, David Macdonald opened Leisure Time Sports in the wee town of Haddington, East Lothian. Over the next 44-years, the business built a trusted reputation for offering great advice and service, quality products and reasonable prices.

That's why generations of athletes and families have come to us to get kitted out for a range of sports from rugby, hockey and swimming to bowls, golf, running and fitness. 

Now, you might have guessed: we love sports! We love playing them, watching them and talking about them. Many of the products we sell are ones we ourselves use and personally vouch for. This love of sports has also passed down through the generations.

Today

In 2016 David retired and his son, Rory, took over the business. Today, we continue on as a family run business priding ourselves on giving helpful advice, quality products and reasonable prices right here in Haddington.
